Product Right to Know Act

This section is designed to provide customers with transparent and detailed information regarding the ingredients used in our fragrance sprays and related scented products. In alignment with California’s Cleaning Product Right to Know Act, manufacturers selling certain products within the state are required to disclose specific chemical components present in those products. This regulation aims to help consumers make informed choices by increasing visibility into the substances used in household and personal care items.

For products that fall under this legislation, any ingredients listed on authoritative chemical inventories designated by the Act must be disclosed. In our compliance efforts, applicable Voluspa fragrance products include ingredient information in accordance with these requirements. In cases where an ingredient is considered confidential business information, it may be labeled as withheld. Even when information is withheld, the functional purpose of each ingredient is still described, and fragrance allergens identified under relevant international cosmetic regulations are disclosed. This approach balances transparency with the protection of proprietary formulations.

Our fragrance sprays and diffusers are formulated with carefully selected ingredients that contribute to scent quality, stability, and overall product performance. Formulations may include fragrance components, solvents, and other supporting materials that enable the product to effectively release fragrance into the surrounding environment. Each ingredient has a specific role, whether enhancing diffusion, extending longevity, or ensuring batch-to-batch consistency. By providing this information, we aim to reassure customers about the contents of our products while supporting informed purchasing decisions.

The range of fragrances available in our collections spans a variety of scent profiles, including fresh and citrus blends, warm woody notes, floral compositions, and rich gourmand combinations. These products are available in multiple formats, such as room sprays, diffusers, travel diffusers, and multi-use sprays. Although individual products differ in fragrance composition, all applicable items adhere to the same disclosure principles under the Act, ensuring consistent access to ingredient information regardless of scent or format.

Transparency is a key element of our commitment to customer trust. We recognize that individuals may have preferences, sensitivities, or concerns regarding fragrance ingredients. Providing clear ingredient information helps customers understand what they are bringing into their homes and can be particularly valuable for those monitoring allergens or reviewing ingredient functions before purchase.

It is important to note that ingredient disclosures are based on regulatory definitions and designated chemical lists established by relevant authorities. These lists may change over time as scientific knowledge and regulatory priorities evolve. We actively monitor updates to these requirements and adjust our disclosures as necessary to maintain compliance. Our objective is to ensure that the information provided remains accurate, relevant, and useful to consumers.

While we strive for completeness and precision, the ingredient information applies only to products covered under the scope of the applicable regulation. Products not regulated under the Act may not have the same level of disclosure. Additionally, ingredient details are specific to each product category and formulation, and variations may occur between different scent lines or product formats.

Overall, our approach to ingredient disclosure reflects our dedication to openness, regulatory compliance, and consumer education. By making the components of our fragrance sprays and diffusers transparent, we aim to empower customers to make informed choices. This commitment to transparency supports confidence in our products while allowing us to continue offering carefully crafted and distinctive fragrance experiences.
